Oryx [Gemsbok]
Oryx (Gemsbok) were introduced into White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in southern New Mexico in the
sixties. They are free ranging, pure-bred gemsbok. Our clients have had 100% opportunity to shoot on every type of hunt. For the selective hunter, we have usually been able to kill an oryx over 35 inches.
The hunt codes and dates listed in our oryx
table are updated annually in late January and contain our offerings
for the upcoming license year (April 1 through March 31 of the
following year).
ALL OF OUR HUNTS offer good quality animals. The
hunts for adults are listed in the order of our preference,
considering all factors. You should apply based on your
availability. The draw odds shown are based on the previous
year’s applications.
Services for the cape and meat are

The trophy quality and quantity of the hunts we offer is very good
